With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied to one natural lash the look and feel is completely natural looking and real.

How long does it take to apply lash extensions?

Applying a full set of lashes takes about one and half hour or two hours it depends on how much lashes you would like to apply on your eyelashes.  And can be maintained year-round with touch-ups recommended every three to four weeks.

What are the most common types of lash extensions?

There are three types of lash extensions: synthetic, silk and mink. Size availability ranges from 6mm to 17mm. Once selected, the lashes are applied one at a time using a specially formulated, semi-permanent glue that will not irritate the eye nor damage the natural lash. However, since allergic reactions are possible, there are different types of glue based on one's sensitivity.

Will the application be harmful to my natural lashes?

Not at all! Our eyelash extensions are applied on your own natural eyelashes one by one (without touching the skin) with an specially designed bonding agent developed exclusively for eyelash extensions. This new technique is not harmful to your natural eyelashes. The adhesive dries very soft on lashes allowing flexibility and comfort.

What happens if glue gets in your eyes?
Since your eyes are shut the whole time lash extensions are being applied, no glue will ever get into your eye. To avoid any irritation, however, the first safety precaution you can take is to be sure that the glue is safe for your eyes and doesn't contain anything that can harm them, like .

How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions last?

When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone's experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touchups should only be required every 2 to 3 weeks.

How often should I get a fill?

We recommend getting a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set.  A fill averages about 30 to 45 minutes.

Can you go blind?

No. Your technician should be trained properly to apply the adhesive and lashes in a way that is completely harmless. Your eyes are closed the entire time of the procedure. No matter how bad an allergic reaction may get, you will never go blind. The worse case scenario is that you need to go to the eye doctor to get specific eye drops to treat an allergic reaction.

Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?

Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara it can be worn. It must however only be a water-based Mascara that has been specially formulated to wear with these lashes.

Can you shower or swim right away? Are there products you should absolutely avoid?

Keep water away from your lashes for the first 2-6 hours after application or touch-ups. Water can weaken the adhesive before it is set and cause lashes to fall off. The after-care varies depending on the glue used. For instance, with glue for sensitive eyes, oil-based products or makeup removers around the eye area are not recommended.

Can I use eyelash curlers with Eyelash Extensions?

We do not recommend using hot eyelash curler.

How do I take care of my new Eyelash Extensions?

Do not get lashes wet for 2-6hours after application
Avoid hot steam or sauna for while
Do not rub your eyes
If applying mascara do so from middle to tip, avoid root area
Use water based eye makeup remover
Do not perm your lashes
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler use hot curler instead
Do not pull on your lashes (this may cause your natural lashes to come out prematurely)

Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?

Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free and very relaxing however, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only using a certified eyelash extension specialist.

How do I choose the look I want?

Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thicknesses. We consult with you first to see what type of style you are interested in and we also determine what your lashes can hold in regards to length and size. Each person's lashes will vary so we take this into consideration when creating a look for you.

Can the eyelash extension be removed?

Yes, at any time for any reason! we provide that service here at the studio. It is a simple procedure that doesn't take long and we have a specially formulated removal solution that will break down the glue and safely remove your extensions without damaging your natural lash. Please do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself as this will cause premature pulling out of your natural lashes.

Are eyelash extensions suitable for everyone?

Anyone of any age can have eyelash extensions applied as long as there is a natural lash to glue the extension onto. Ladies who have undergone chemotherapy (and their lashes are starting to grow back) are a great candidate as well as people who wear contact lenses and glasses.

HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE AN EYE INFECTION OR HAVE RECENTLY UNDERGONE AN EYE OPERATION OR COSMETIC EYE SURGERY IT WOULD BE BEST TO WAIT UNTIL THE EYE AREA HAS COMPLETELY HEALED.
